The people of Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana’s Western Regional capital today Thursday 13th December, 2018 welcomed the colourful opening of the first modern shopping mall in the region.
With intense excitement, thousands of people trooped to the $40 million shopping mall with their families and loved ones to witness the grand opening which attracted high-profile personalities like the Second Lady, H.E. Samira Bawumia, Ghana’s High Commissioner to United Kingdom Paapa Owusu Ankomah, Petroleum Commission’s boss Egbert Faibille, Deputy Minister of Energy Hon. Joseph Cudjoe whose constituency the mall is situated amongst other personalities.
The mall consist of 11,000 square meter floor and 74 stores. The 1,000 square meter space has a spacious car park of up to 375 parking space.
The second phase of the project will be a 9 acre multi-purpose entertainment center for everything entertainment in the region. The whole project according to the owners will cost a total of $66 million when completed.
