Westline Entertainment holds seminar for over 130 Artistes and Industry players in Western Region ahead of 3rd edition of RTC Western Music Awards

On Saturday 16th March, 2019, Westline Entertainment, the organizers of the annual Western Music Awards sponsored by Rigworld Training Centre (RTC) held a seminar for the Artistes and Showbiz Industry Players at the SSNIT Conference Room in Takoradi.

Westline Entertainment convened speakers like Zapp Mallet who spoke on the ‘rudiments of music production,’ Nana Out Gyandoh who spoke on ‘The Show Business,’ Trigmatic who spoke on ‘Artiste and Media Relations,’ ‘Joseph Atubiga who spoke on ‘Benefits of registering with MUSIGA,’ Richard Sumah who spoke on ‘Music Distribution, Promotion and Marketing’ and J. M. Caesar who spoke on ‘What the board looks out for in potential nominees.’

The 4 hour seminar which was attended by over 130 stakeholders in the Showbiz industry was aimed at enlightening the Artistes and other stakeholders of the industry about their craft.  

This seminar is one of the series of events by Westline Entertainment ahead of the awards night slated for 11th May, 2019 at the Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi. Other events like nominees jam and Artistes’ socialization are the two other events that would be rolled out prior to the awards night.

Public Relations Officer of Westline Entertainment, Nana Kwesi Coomson mentioned that, the number of nominations this year shot up as 121 Artistes, 21 Disc Jockeys (DJs) and 18 Entertainment Show Hosts filed for the 26 categories this year.
