Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have been fined $9,000 for the actions of their fans during their CAF Confederation Cup match at home against Al-Hilal Omdurman.
The Porcupine Warriors received a letter from CAF confirming their fine from the continent’s football governing body.
Reports indicate that CAF did not like the condition of seats near the dug-out of the stadium.
Fans were found guilty for throwing objects onto the pitch during their 1-1 in at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Porcupine Warriors were also charged for the standard of bench seats.
The Ghanaian giants ended their continental campaign in CAF’s second-tier competition after losing their last match 2-1 to Zambian giants ZESCO United.
