VIDEO: Gospel Artiste Gifty Osei reveals how her mum made her pay attention to Kofi Kinaata’s song

Unusual for a Gospel Artiste to ‘jam’ to the song of a secular Artiste, ace Gospel Artiste, Gifty Osei has revealed that her mother made her pay attention to one of Kofi Kinaata’s songs ‘Single and Free.’

According to Gifty Osei who could sing the ‘Single and free’ song line by line, her mother asked her to pay attention to the song which speaks volumes of reality and wisdom. “I was asking her if she had had a broken heart when she told me to listen to the song but the song has profound lyrics with real life situations” Gifty Osei said.

“And one thing too is that there is no profane in the song. Kofi Kinaata writes with wisdom and that sets him apart” Gifty Osei added in the video interview with Nana Ama McBrown on ‘McBrown’s Kitchen’ TV Show.

‘Single and Free’ is a song which urges people having relationship issues not to take their lives because a relationship didn’t work. The song further adds that there is more to life than taking your life over a failed relationship.
