“We have realized our mistakes in our 2016 election defeat” – Kwakye Ofosu

Former Deputy Communications Minister in the erstwhile John Mahama administration, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has assured that the National Democratic Congress [NDC] will at all cost win the 2020 elections.

According to him, leaders of the NDC have put in place proper measures to curb every mistake made during the 2016 elections.

He therefore said nothing can prevent them from winning the 2020 elections as the current government has lost focus on what to do and implementing its promises.

“We have realized our mistakes in our 2016 election defeat and are vigorously working at it to come back to power to resourcefully make use of Ghana’s chattels.”

Speaking on Adom FM’s ‘Mpensenpensenmu’ programme, the NDC Communicator lamented that President Akufo-Addo and his governing team have refused to take-up every responsibility due them, but keep swimming in blame games.

“President Akufo-Addo and his government must stop lamenting to us and rather solve the problems they promised to fix when given the mandate,” he indicated.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) established a 13-member committee to investigate the cause of the party’s defeat to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2016 elections and recommend remedies.

The committee was chaired by former Minister of Finance and Chairman of the National Development Planning Commission, Professor Kwesi Botchway.
