President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed confidence the Black Stars will bounce back despite exiting the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Stars lost 5-4 on penalties to Tunisia in the Round of 16 on Monday.
In a tweet posted immediately after the match, the president said he is gutted “like most Ghanaians”.

The president had been hopeful of a successful campaign for the senior national soccer team in Egypt.
He was at the Ismailia Stadium for the opening 2-2 draw with Benin after visiting the team in camp
The team topped Group F, going into Monday night’s knock-out game.
But the favourable record in the tournament over Tunisia came crushing for Ghana as the Carthage Eagles picked another draw in full regulation time.
They also won the resultant penalties.
They picked the final quarter-final spot and become one of two North African sides left in the tournament.
