Mr. Eventuarry thought number of followers on social media should amount to money – Manager reacts

Patrick Mensah, popularly known as Mr. Eventuarry, the social media sensation who became popular with his ‘money laughter’ and mispronouncing eventually (as eventuarry) has been in the news for saying that he fired his Manager for ‘chopping’ his money.

Reacting for the first time since the news broke, Mr. Arthur told www.233times.net that the misconception that Mr. Eventuarry has about the Showbiz industry is grave. “He was expecting money from radio interviews. Anytime we went for radio interviews, he was asking me where the money is and anytime I told him that it is part of the branding and publicity, he became furious that he cannot be doing free things” Mr. Arthur told www.233times.net.

“We had an ambassadorial contract with a clothing line in Takoradi called Anafo Bisi Clothing. The contract was that he (Mr. Eventuarry) would be clothed for events and interviews and in return, he mentions the clothing line in his interviews and events. He was expecting money from that too and I had to explain to him that it was part of the strategy as a new comer.”

According to the Manager of Mr. Eventuarry, “the shocking part was when he was expecting money from the number of followers on social media. He said he know that one is paid for the number of followers that he has on social media so where is the money that he has accrued from the tens of thousands of followers on his Twitter and Instagram accounts that I created.”
