‘I’ll work on my voice’ – Emelia Brobbey says after releasing ‘Fame K)’

Kumawood actress turned musician, Emelia Brobbey, says she will not allow negative criticisms deter her from singing.

Emelia Brobbey went viral on social media after releasing a single, ‘Fame K?’.

The song was highly criticised by sections of the public, with some urging her to concentrate on acting.

But in an interview on a Kumasi-based radio station, Luv FM, Emelia said she would not allow those comments distract her.

“So I sang Emelia Brobbey’s voice, that’s what I did. I did me. I sang my voice. If Ghanaians are not happy and they think it’s noise I’ll go do the homework and bring it. In most of the comments, what I read is the voice. So, I know that they are criticising me so that I work on the voice,” she said.

She however thanked a section of the public who praised her work, saying she was impressed with those fans and their dedication in defending her against the trolls.
