‘Ekosii sen’ Host Philip Osei Bonsu and Producers asked to self-isolate after Obour interview

Philip Osei Bonsu, the Host of ‘Ekosii sen’ on Asempa FM and his Producers have been asked to self-isolate after an on air interview with Bice Osei Kufour aka Obour who is contesting for the Asante Akyem South Parliamentary seat on the ticket of New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The Multimedia Group in a statement said that the directive became necessary after the Former MUSIGA Boss revealed during an interview on the most authoritative political and current affairs show (Ekosii sen) yesterday 27th March, 2020 that a close relative died as a result of Coronavirus. It later turned out to be Obour’s biological father, Nana Osei Boansi Kuffour who died on Friday 27th March 2020 at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital.

In an interview with Philip Osei Bonsu, he told www.233times.net that “As a Company policy, we’ve been asked to embark on self-isolation. Essentially we should not come to work for the next two weeks. All staff members who traveled outside the country since the outbreak were made to stay home for two weeks.”

The statement said “During the interview, Obour disclosed that he had lost a close relative to Covid-19. As a result, we immediately engaged a third-party company that disinfected the studios and entire Multimedia buildings as a necessary precaution. We have, in the meantime, asked the EKOSIISEN team to self-quarantine, while we seek expert medical advice on the matter.”
