Organizers of Western Music Awards, Westline Entertainment has announced that due to coronavirus concerns, the 2020 edition of the prestigious awards that celebrate Western Region Artistes is suspended until further notice.
The Head of Public and Media Relations, Nana Kwesi Coomson made this known today, Tuesday, 24th March, 2020 via their Facebook page.

WESTLINE ENTERTAINMENT SUSPENDS 2020 EDITION OF WESTERN MUSIC AWARDS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Westline Entertainment, organizers of the Prestigious Western Music Awards have suspended the 2020 edition of Western Music Awards until further notice due to Coronavirus concerns.
The Board and Management with great respect for the directive from H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo–Addo to ban all public gatherings and also to stop the spread of the the Coronavirus have taken this decision.
However, all submitted nominations have been duly received and work on sieving them will commerce as soon as the green light is given.
We will continue to engage with stakeholders on the next step(s) and inform all potential nominees accordingly of any changes.
