Family of 3, including 11 month old baby burnt to death at New Takoradi

On Easter Friday 10th April, 2020 a family of three was been burnt to death at New Takoradi in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.

Mena Mansa, 28, the mother and her two children Paa Kwesi, 3 and Obaa Yaa, eleven months old were burnt to death when a gallon of premix fuel stored in their house caught fire.

Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the Member of Parliament for the constituency who visited the scene to commiserate with the family said “I am told their death was as a result of the premix fuel, I have asked the Ghana National Fire Service to investigate the real cause of the fire and I have also assured the family of my support.”

The three bodies have since been deposited at the Effia -Nkwanta hospital morgue.
