COVID-19: Lawyer Fiifi Buckman donates hand sanitizers and face masks to Western Region GJA

The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Kwesimintsin Constituency, Lawyer Fiifi Buckman on Monday 4th May donated hand sanitizers and face masks to the Western Region chapter of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
Recognising the Journalists as frontline personnel, the Lawyer of eight years said that in their line of work, the Journalists are equally exposed to the virus thus his donation to them to ensure that they are protected against the virus that has claimed over 257,818 lives around the world.
According to Lawyer Buckman as he is affectionately called, the donation is his widow’s mite to support the hardworking media personnel for their efforts in updating people about the precautionary measures and also report latest trends in the fight against the novel Coronavirus.
He added that “kudos to our hardworking Journalists/Media (in) the world over for exhibiting selfless dedication to the call of duty in this trying times. This too shall pass.”
Moses Akrobeto, the Western Region’s GJA President received the donations on behalf of the Journalists and expressed his appreciation.
