Takoradi: 2 fuel tankers explode at Apremdo (PHOTOS)

Information reaching www.233times.net is that two diesel tankers have been gutted by fire at Apremdo, a suburb of Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly.

The two tankers were behind Apremdo-Apollo Total Filling Station awaiting orders from managers to discharge fuel into reservoirs.

The Fire Service according to eye witnesses got to the scene 20 minutes after the incidence. They have since been combating the ravaging fire for more than 40 minutes.

More than half a dozen containers have been razed by the fire.

We are yet to speak to the property owners.
