Western Region: Incumbent MPs who lost the NPP Parliamentary Primaries

“Fear delegates,” one of the popular phrases in New Patriotic Party (NPP) had meaning today (Saturday 20th June, 2020) at the party’s parliamentary elections across Ghana.

Some incumbent Members of Parliament (MP) in the Western Region shockingly were defeated in parliamentary primaries.

Two first time MPs, Hon. Joe Mensah, Kwesimintsim Constituency MP and Hon. Ato Panford, Shama MP were victims of the ‘fear delegates’ phrases as they lost the primaries.

MP for Mpohor, Alexander Kofi Agyekum who has served two terms in Parliament also lost the primaries.

Hon. Patrick Saime of the Amenfi East also lost.
