
The Western Region of Ghana has recorded over 90% recoveries/discharges from the novel coronavirus, according to the latest update from Western Region branch of the Ghana Health Service.
From the latest update, the region has recorded three (3) death. With a total of 1,932 confirmed cases in the region, 1,883 have recovered/discharged.
The Regional Capital, Sekondi-Takoradi is the city with the highest confirmed cases of 612, Tarkwa-Nsuaem and Effia Kwesimintsim follows with 566 and 274 respectively.
As at now, there are 3,252 pending samples to be tested.
