Sam, who until his sudden demise was the Mayor of Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly,
According to deep throat, Abdul Mumin Issah who is a close friend of President Akufo-Addo and Takoradi Constituency MP cum Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah is popular for his active grassroot works in the NPP since the days of late Mrs. Gladys Asmah, former MP for Takoradi Constituency.
A business man who owns a laundry and washing bay at Anaji in Takoradi, Abdul Mumin Issah contested for the position of Regional Second Vice Chairman of the NPP in the last regional executive elections and lost.
Mr. Issah’s appointment is awaiting approval of not less than two-thirds majority of members of the Assembly present, as demanded by the Constitution of Ghana.
Names such as Ato Vaness, Bravo and Justice Acquah were up as likely Candidates for the position.
