PHOTOS: Western Regional Minister swears in new MCE of Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly

The Western Regional Minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Takoradi Constituency Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah has sworn in the new Metropolitan Chief Executive of Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) Abdul-Mumin Issah following fifty-three assembly members of the STMA in the Western Region confirming him as demanded by the constitution.
He was confirmed on Friday, August 14 at the forecourt of the Assembly.
Abdul-Mumin Issah assured that he will see to the development of the Metropolis with good measures. “I believe my ancestors are smiling upon me especially my late brother. Thank you all once again for the support and honour that you gave to me. Long live STMA, Long live Ghana.”
Abdul-Mumin Issah was nominated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo after the death of his predecessor Anthony Kobina Kurentsir Sam, who passed away on Friday June 12, 2020 at the University of Ghana Medical Center in Accra.
