I‘m your number 1 fan – WR Police Commander receives Kofi Kinaata‘s VGMA plaques

“I have a good relationship with this office but since you came I have not been able to visit you so I’m here to first of all welcome you and also present the just ended VGMA awards to you” Kofi Kinaata revealed the reason for his visit to the Western Regional Police Commander DCOP Felix Fosu-Agyemang at the Regional Police Headquarters on Friday 11th September, 2020.

Welcoming Kofi Kinaata to his office, DCOP Fosu-Agyemang mentioned that he is a number one fan of Kofi Kinaata because of the matured and relevant issues he addresses in his songs. “I love ‘Things Fall Apart’ because of the message it carries and all your songs. You address matured and relevant issues. Your songs are not noise but matured songs. If this is how you’ll go, you’ll reap bountifully even in your old age from royalties” DCOP Fosu-Agyemang mentioned.

Kofi Kinaata presented the plaques of the 2020 VGMA awards he won to DCOP Fosu-Agyemang. The awards are Highlife Song of the year, Songwriter of the year and Most Popular Song of the year.
