‘Aboboyaa’ riders indiscriminately sleeping with young ladies in Wassa East District

There is a growing concern in Wassa East District in the Western Region about how tricycle riders popularly known as ‘Abobo Yaa’ riders taking undue advantage of young ladies in the district.

According to a resident who spoke to www.233times.net on the basis of anonymity, the tricycle riders have become hot cakes in the district as every lady now wants to have a tricycle rider as a boyfriend.

As a result, the riders are now indiscriminately sleeping with the ladies and impregnating them. “Teenage pregnancy is high in the district. Most of the Aboboyaa riders deny the pregnancy too leaving the ladies to suffer alone” www.233times.net was briefed.

“Particularly in Dwinase, the tricycle riders make more money as they convey goods and farm produce of the residents. This brings them a lot of money so they are the big deal in the district now” the source further told www.233times.net.
