VIDEO: Fire guts Sekondi Landing Beach

Yesterday November 19, a fire outbreak at the Sekondi Landing Beach in destroyed several canoes.
Eyewitnesses reveal that the fire started after premix fuel being poured out by some fishermen came into contact with an open fire that was being used to cook nearby.
The fire is said to have started around 4:00 pm but for the timely interventions of firefighters to douse it, there could have been lives lost.
Fishermen at the scene confirmed that some people sustained various degrees of injuries and have been taken to the hospital.
