Multiple award winning Artiste, Kofi Kinaata on Saturday 2nd January, 2021 unveiled jerseys for his football clubs, Effiakuma Move FC and Team Move FC.
The Artiste who is a former footballer said that his passion for football and football talents compelled him to start the football club.
Founded in 2019, the clubs comprise Under 13, 15, 17 and a third division. The Under 13 to 17 are the Team Move FC and the third division club is the Effiakuma Move FC.
The main objective according to the CEO of the club (Kofi Kinaata) is to play in elite football division in the country, to adequately prepare players for both the local and international market.
Joel Ofori Afraine is the head coach and ably assisted by Seidu Yahaya.
Chairman of the club, Charles King Arthur Jr reiterated the ‘boots and books’ policy of the football club. “We are much interested in the education of the footballers so we won’s sign any player who is of school going age and not in school unless at least the player has a secondary school education” Mr. King Arthur Jr posited.
Present at the unveiling of the jerseys were Ghana Football Association member Dr. Pear Pearson who chaired the unveiling, Footballer Abeiku Ainooson, Physiotherapist Mr. Kadir and Mr. Romeo Afranie.
