33yr old remanded for allegedly defiling his daughter

A 33 year-old man has been remanded by the Bibiani Circuit Court for allegedly defiling his biological daughter at Dogokrom in the Aowin Municipality of the Western North Region.

The suspect, Yaw Sarfo was charged on three counts of defilement, incest and threatening the life of his daughter.
According to reports, Mr Sarfo has been defiling his Junior High School daughter since she was in class three.

The victim, according to reports informed her headteacher about the series of sexual intercourse with her father after suffering from abuse.
The suspect, Yaw Sarfo was arrested after the headteacher, Eric Afrifa, of Awuakrom M/A reported the matter to the police.

The victim spoke to the media and indicated that she was forced to abort a baby she was carrying for her father. She further revealed that her father threatened to take her life if she tells anyone about it.

The suspect took custody of his four children; the victim and three other boys after divorcing his first and second wife.
