Wilson Arthur bows out of politics

Hon. Wilson Arthur, a media mogul and serial entrepreneur who has failed on three occasions to represent the people of Wassa East Constituency (on the ticket of NPP) in Parliament has finally bowed out of politics.

Hon. Wilson Arthur, the incumbent District Chief Executive (DCE) of Wassa East District who is known for his exceptional Midas touch has transformed the Wassa East District into a model district.

Under his supervision, businesses and other investors have relocated to the gold and oil palm resourced district. Even though his achievements as a DCE are evident enough, Wassa East electorates have not looked his way during parliamentary elections.

It is now clear that Hon. Wilson Arthur has hanged his political boot which did not have strong sole to win elections as he did not reapply for the position of MMDCE when 67 names came out last two days for various MMDCE positions in the Western Region.
