We don’t have toilet facility – Whindo Traders cry

Traders at Whindo, a suburb of Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western Region are complaining over the lack of toilet facility at their newly built market.

According Martin Baidoo, a committee member in the Whindo community made it known that they are grateful for the newly built market, but what is lacking is a toilet facility, electricity and tap water.

He explained that the toilet facility will make trading at the market very convenient as it will be useful by both the traders and the customers. Since the market will be a second home to the traders, It would have been important to build the facility along with the market.

He also revealed they have petitioned the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly who are in charge of the market concerning the lack of toilet facility.

According to him, they reply they normally get is to have patience because it is being worked upon, so they are patiently waiting until something is done about the situation.
