WR Minister tours Takoradi CNC with Tourism Minister after ‘Extensive Chat with NKC’ expose

Following an expose by online TV channel ‘Extensive Chat with NKC’ on the dilapidated state of the Center for National Culture (CNC) in Takoradi, the Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah has toured the venue with the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mohammed Awal. 

The tour was to appreciate in-person the state of the CNC as revealed in the online coverage by ‘Extensive Chat with NKC’ and as covered by other media in the Region.

According to the Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, the CNC will see a facelift in a year. 

Amongst the areas the expose touched on were the cracks in the building and how unsafe it has become to host an event at the venue which charges GHc1,200 for use.
