I have never been worried about Castro’s disappearance – Father

“I am happy that the reports are that he is missing and any missing thing is to be searched for so if you search for it well, you will find it. The seven years doesn’t bind me nor the family. It is only requirement by the constitution but we will not throw in the white towel as long as our God hasn’t told us that it is over” Mr. Eshun, father of Castro boldly declared.

He added, “If you don’t believe that he will come back, forget it, if you believe that he will come back too, join our faith. There has not been a single day that I have been worried about it, there has not been a single day that I have dreamt of his demise and I don’t know the day that I have broken down entirely. I am over 60 years so I have been on this earth for a while.”

Acknowledging that Castro’s mother breaks down anytime the incident is discussed in the media, Mr. Eshun revealed that “At least I am a man so I have the courage but have you thought of the mother who birthed him? She broke down entirely when the media resurfaced discussions about him (Castro).”

“It is only God we can commit her into His hands at this point because the trauma she has entered into at this point, it is not easy but it is only God we can call on” Mr. Eshun requested for prayers for the family.

Speaking to Nana Kwame the Master Planner on Takoradi based Skyy Power FM, Mr. Eshun mentioned that it has not been easy for the family since the incident happened seven years ago even though they are still hopeful of the Artiste’s coming back.

The optimistic father added that Creative Arts industry players were in touch with the family in the initial days of the incident, if he speaks about it, the public will misconstrue it so he prefers not to speak about the family’s relationship with players in Creative Arts since.
