Takoradi: PTC roundabout closes to traffic from Sunday

The PTC roundabout which is being redeveloped into a three tier interchange to ease traffic flow considerably and shorten travel time for commuters, will be closed to traffic with effect from Sunday, August 15.
A traffic management plan layout has been revealed to let road users familiarise with the new changes and how to go about their daily activities with ease.

From: Accra = Takoradi Mall Road
To: Air Force, Kokompe, Ghana Water,
DIRECTION
Motorists shall use the PTC roundabout through to;
- Cape-Coast Dual Carriage Road and TURN RIGHT to JUSTMOH avenue linking the Temporal AIR FORCE Junction Roundabout on the Axim Road to AIR FORCE, KOKOMPE, GHANA WATER, etc.
- The Liberation Road and TURN RIGHT to JUSTMOH avenue linking the Temporal AIR FORCE Junction Roundabout on the Axim Road to AIR FORCE, KOKOMPE, GHANA

From: Tarkwa — Agona Nkwanta Road
To: AIR FORCE, KOKOMPE, GHANA WATER, etc.
DIRECTION
- Cape-Coast Dual Carriage Road and TURN RIGHT to JUSTMOH avenue linking the Temporal AIR FORCE Junction Roundabout on the Axim Road to AIR FORCE, KOKOMPE, GHANA WATER, etc.
2. The Liberation Road and TURN RIGHT to JUSTMOH avenue linking the Temporal AIR FORCE Junction Roundabout on the Axim Road to AIR FORCE, KOKOMPE, GHANA

From: Sekondi
To: AIR FORCE, KOKOMPE, GHANA WATER,
DIRECTION
Motorists shall use the Cape-Coast Dual Carriage Road and take a U-TURN on the left, and TURN again on the RIGHT to JUSTMOH avenue linking the Temporal AIR FORCE Junction Roundabout on the Axim Road to AIR FORCE, KOKOMPE, GHANA WATER, etc.

To: Axim Road/ AIR FORCE BASE
DIRECTION
Long trailers that cannot make U-TURN to JUSTMOH Avenue, shall use the G.S.T.S Road, to ECO BANK Roundabout then to the Axim Road,

To: TULLOW/ AIR FORCE
DIRECTION
Motorists shall use the PTC roundabout towards Tarkwa-Agona Nkwanta Road and TURN LEFT about 140m to the AIR FORCE BASE.

Motorists shall use the Cape Coast dual Carriage Road, through to the PTC roundabout towards Tarkwa-Agona Nkwanta Road and Turn left and 140m to the AIR FORCE BASE.

Motorists shall use TURN RIGHT, about 140m to the PTC roundabout to the AIR FORCE BASE.

Motorists shall use the Temporal Roundabout on the Axim Road and TURN RIGHT to the ONE-WAY CARSELY HAYFORD Avenue linking the Cape Coast Dual Carriage Road.

To: Cape Coast Dual Carriage Road
DIRECTION
Motorists shall use the the Temporal Roundabout on the Axim Road and GO straight to the ONE WAY Linking the Cape Coast Dual Carriage Road.
