EXCLUSIVE: These people are President’s nominees for MCES for Metropolitan Assemblies in Ghana

Even though it is yet to be officially announced, exclusive information gathered by an authentic source has revealed that, the President has appointed some persons as Metropolitan Chief Executives for the next tenure.
It has taken the President over nine months to announce names of the Municipal, Metropolitan and District Assembly Chief Executives which has attracted a lot of criticisms from civil society group and the media.
Mentioning the names on ‘Ekosii sen’ on Asempa FM, Philip Osei Bonsu, the host mentioned that “it would take a miracle of high magnitude” for the names to change.
Barring any last minute changes, the following are the MCE’s for some Metropolitan Assemblies:
Accra Metropolitan Assembly – Elizabeth Tawiah Sackey
Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly – Samuel Pyne
Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly – Abdul Mumin Issah
