Milovan Rajevac hints shake up in stars

Black Stars returnee coach Milovan (Milo) Rajevac has hinted that he will only work with committed players.

He has also stated that only dedicated players will feature in his yet to be announced squad that will face Zimbabwe for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers next month.

Already, the 67-year-old Serbian has watched all the tapes of players who played under his predecessor, Coach Charles   Akonnor.

It has emerged that the exercise is to inform his decision for his selection for the forthcoming double header.

Rajevac, who arrived in the country last Monday to begin work per the contract, was unveiled by the Ghana Football Association last Friday.

Akonnor named the squad before he was booted out of office by the Ghana FA for non-performance, but indications are that Milo will work with only the committed ones.

The returnee coach has been tasked to qualify the Stars to the 2022 FIFA World Cup scheduled for Qatar next year.

He is expected to name his squad this week for the two games against Zimbabwe.

The Stars have gone two games with three points, having struggled to beat Ethiopia 1-0  in Cape Coast and lost 0-1 to South Africa in Johannesburg.
