After the Western Regional Minister revealed that, his security briefing state that the missing and found 9 month old pregnant woman in Takoradi was not pregnant as speculated.
Family of the lady, Josephine Panyin Simons directed Ghanaians to enquire from the Takoradi Hospital the antenatal records of his wife.
The Hospital has denied access to the antenatal records of Josephine Payin Simons.
Mr. Osei Boateng, the hospital Administrator denied access on the grounds that the document is confidential and can only be released under a court order.
With some details from him, Mr. Osei Boateng said Josephine first visited the hospital on 1st July, 2020, and secondly on the 10th of September, 2020.
“She has been here on one or two occasions to access health care services after her first visit, but as you know, the issue has become a national interest and we must tread carefully”
“We have gone through our records and there are documents that prove she has been coming here, but we cannot release documents containing her medical condition, it is against our profession but if they desire to have it, they have to put everything in writing through a court order and we will give it out”
