Full list of winners at 10th edition of Central Music Awards

The 10th edition of Central Music Awards (CMA) was held on Friday 26th November in Cape Coast with electrifying performances from Artistes with Central Region lineage. 

At a colourful event at the Center for National Culture in Cape Coast, Artistes and Creative Arts players were awarded in 40 categories for their works in the 2019-2020 review years. 

Heritage Promotions, organizers of the awards also honoured highlife legend, Kwabena Kwabena with a lifetime achievement award as well as crowned the most consistent Artiste within the ten years since the inception of awards which was won by Orkotor Perry. Students in Creative Arts were recognized in some of the categories which according to Heritage Promotions “is to encourage the Students for putting their talents to good use   at an early stage in their lives.” 

Paying homage to the founder of the awards, Candyman Lucas Mensah was recognized for starting a regional awards in Ghana, making the CMA the premiere regional awards in Ghana. Gully Grank who passed on last year was also given a posthumous award, which was received by his family.
