Wow!: Did you know this is how much super bowl tickets cost?

Pricing events has a lot of factors that is considered. For most event organizers, the Artistes billed to perform, the venue and the series of events that are part of the main event influences the cost. 

The super bowl, an annual playoff championship game of the National Football League which is played on the second Sunday in February has been the topic of conversation online since this year’s came off Sunday 13thFebruary.

Much of the discussion centred on the ticket price of the event. The 2022 Super Bowl ticket packages listed on ‘On Location’ start at $3,272.50 per person. Depending on seat location and package details, listings even go up to $14,876 per person. Prices aren’t even listed on ‘On Location’s’ website for some of the more elite packages.

‘On Location’ advertises pregame parties, open bars, NFL legend appearances, live entertainment, premium cuisine, photo ops and meet and greets as highlights of their ticket packages. There are even optional hotel accommodations available for your ticket.

On ‘SeatGeek,’ tickets start in the upper level for $2,882 and go up to $34,319 for VIP sections.

Ticketmaster, the official ticket marketplace of the NFL, also lists ticket packages ranging from $3,100 all the way up to $75,000. The most expensive single ticket for purchase on Ticketmaster is $180,000.
