Kofi Kinaata’s song appears in KNUST curriculum for the 3rd time

The English Department of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has authorized the study of Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Things fall apart’ as best of literature work. 

The song was translated into English for the student to study for the semester. The Literature Students will write exams on the song which has been given to them as part of the semester’s curriculum.

Social media users trended the literature work by the ‘Susuka’ crooner and hailed his writing prowess which has attracted the academic community. 

This is the third time the English Department of KNUST is using a song by Kofi Kinaata for its literature work.

In the past 6 years, the English Department has authorized ‘Susuka,’ ‘Confession,’ and ‘Things fall apart’ in 2016, 2018 and 2022 respectively as best literature works for those semesters.

Kofi Kinaata who is currently promoting his ‘amapiano’ song ‘Wo pre’ holds the title as the best songwriter in Ghana as he has won the Songwriter of the year four times at the Ghana Music Awards.
