Western Region: 8 month pregnant woman, son killed in accident at Juaboso

An 8 months pregnant woman and his son have been killed in an accident at Juaboso, in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region.

According to an eyewitness, a truck loaded with plantain roots failed it breaks leading it to crush a tricycle, popularly referred to as “Aboboyaa” which was parked at the side of the road.

The witness told Skyy News that, bystanders started to warn other pedestrians and the hawkers who were at the side of the road to flee upon seeing the approach of the truck.

They fled upon the warning but the pregnant woman and his son, unfortunately, could not flee in the time leading to their untimely death.

Further reports state that the deceased 38-year-old woman was taking her deceased 5-year-old son to school.

The mangled tricycle had to be cut open before the bodies of the victims were retrieved.
