WR Minister presents street bulbs to Airport Ridge residents

The Western Regional Minister has presented street bulbs to Airport Ridge residents in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.

Mr Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah says as part of his measures to ensure security and development in the community, he is sharing the bulbs to residents to help with visibility in the community.

He made it known that the major problems in Airport Ridge is visibility and deplorable roads and it is his aim to fix these problems as long as he continues to be the Member of Parliament (MP) in Takoradi.

He said, “The light should be given to those who really need it and not those who already have because we will need to solve the light issue problem.”

“As for the road, we have constructed some 2 kilometres and we will complete it with another 2 kilometres to solve the issue of road in the community.”

The Regional Minister said the issue of flood will be tackled after these two major problems by dredging the storm drain and other small drains in the community.”
