Amy Newman to release ‘I’m Redeemed’ August 24

Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician, Rev. Mrs. Amy Newman is set to release ‘I’m Redeemed,’ on 24th August, 2022, which will be her first release in 2022.

“For the past four years, I have battled with some deep things. I have not been myself since 2019. But whatever that I went through, I have been redeemed by God so this song is my story that I have put in a song. A lot of people I have spoken to have also shared similar stories so God gave me this song to liberate people in similar situation” Mrs. Amy Newman revealed.

“Jesus came to redeem His own so the song is to liberate many in situations they’re battling with. People are really going through a lot. Unless they open up to you, you will think everyone you meet is in a sound state of mind. This is a song of redemption for many and I know God will help many out of situations they find themselves in” Mrs. Amy Newman added.

The highly-anticipated song is produced by Kaywa of Highly Spiritual Music Production.

At the just ended 610Music Western Music Awards, the organizers honoured Mrs. Amy Newman with a Lifetime Achievement Award. 

Mrs. Amy Newman who was born in 1960 started her elementary education at the Essikado Catholic Girls School and it was at this stage that she found her love for music. 

The mother of eight in her illustrious career has released songs like ‘Okamafo Jesus,’ ‘Tsie Me Moborsu,’ ‘Ateasefo,’ amongst others.
