The Blackpride’s annual Heritage Seminar slated for September 21

Blackpride Multimedia is set to organise its annual heritage seminar slated for the 21st of September, 2022 at the most patronized Takoradi Mall.

Spearheaded by Y97.9 FM’s Haruna Babangida, the one-day event seeks to educate the youth, create an unrestricted atmosphere, imbue and integrate a thorough understanding and acceptance of the Ghanaian culture.

Running for the second consecutive year, the heritage series has featured some prominent personalities and well-meaning Ghanaians with diverse backgrounds in history, culture and governance. Some of the speakers in past include; Mr Twum Barimah, a celebrated Sports administrator and Historian as well as Hon Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah, the Western Regional Minister and MP for Takoradi.

This year’s event themed, “The role of culture in National Development” will witness amazing speakers from diverse ethnic backgrounds and fields of experience. These speakers include the Chief of Apremdo, His Royal Highness, Nana Egya Kwamina XI, Baba Raa El, an African American Storyteller/a Certified Theatre Education Trainer, Meryland – USA, Multiple Award-Winning International Reggae Artiste Shasha Marley, Oil and Gas expert Saviour Kwaku Adzika (CorpSeyvee) and Francis Atuahene, an Entrepreneur and Automobile consultant.
