Focus 1 gives staff of Beach and Spice FMs 70% cost of living allowance

Kwame Adu Mante, Chief Executive of Focus 1 Media

As part of efforts to ease economic pressures on its staff, the Management of Focus 1 Media has made provision to pay cushioning allowances between 20 percent to 70 percent of the net salary to help with the cost of living.

In a leaked statement to www.233times.net, management noted that the allowances would be paid from October to December 2022.

However, there will be a review of the allowances in January 2023 considering economic and internal businesses.

Management admits that the business is making losses, but finds it prudent to support staff with the necessary cushioning in this prevailing economic turmoil.

Amongst other things, management is to put other measures in place to help minimize the expenditure of staff, particularly transportation costs by having staff only come to work on a need basis.
