Ghana head coach Otto Addo has named his 55-man provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Qatar.
The squad was finally released on Friday, November 4 after it looked like it was not going to be unveiled.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is not in the squad after it was widely reported that he is in the squad. Patric Pfeiffer, who also switched nationality from Germany but is yet to feature for Ghana, is also not in the squad.
Tariq Lamptey, Inaki Williams, Mohammed Salisu, Salis Abdul Samed, Ransford Yeboah, and Stephan Ambrosius are all in the squad.
The fifty-five man squad will be trimmed to twenty-six before the tournament starts on November 20.
The Black Stars will open their campaign on November 24 before facing South Korea four days later. The encounter against Uruguay on December 2 will close Ghana’s group campaign.
