Kofi Kinaata is 10 years in music

Multiple award-winning Artiste, Kofi Kinaata, real name Martin KingArthur is a decade old in mainstream music.

The Takoradi born-bred Artiste was officially signed to Samini’s Highgrade Family on 15th January, 2013. This was the introduction of Kofi Kinaata to the Ghanaian music market.

In celebrating a decade in the industry, fans of the ‘Susuka’ crooner took to social media to enumerate some of his achievements over the last 10 years. Amongst them that most of them highlighted is how he has been able to survive in the industry without a scandal.

Some of them praised his growth in music, recounting his days of rapping to his recent craze for singing in most of his songs. One side of him which has been discovered by many is his talent in comedy.

During concerts that he headlines, he is heard cracking jokes amidst his singing performances.

In the last 10 years, Kofi Kinaata has won 44 awards. He has won ‘Songwriter of the year’ four times at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, making him the only Artiste to have won it more than 3 times.

He is the reigning Artiste of the year at the Ghana Music Awards USA and a brand ambassador of a number of corporate brands in Ghana.

Kofi Kinaata has his own annual event, ‘Made in Taadi’ which is organized in Takoradi every year. His song writing prowess is what many praise him for.

In the celebration of the decade old in Ghana music, many people as well wondered why the Artiste who is currently promoting his ‘Everyday’ single does not have an album.
