Public records in United States have revealed that conjoined twin Abby Hensel is now married to Josh Bowling, a nurse and United States Army veteran.
Abby Hensel has been conjoined to her sister Brittany Hensel her whole life because both are fused together at the torso.
Their condition allows each other to control one side of their body. Now, at age 34, it has been revealed that one of them have found love and tied the knot.
The Mirror, a UK-based online news portal reports that public records obtained proves that Abby and Josh married in 2021 in a close family ceremony.
Pictures of the ceremony have now surfaced on social media with one image showing Abby and Brittany dressed in a white wedding dress, standing alongside and holding hands with Josh, dressed in a grey suit.
3news’ check on their TikTok account indicates that they have shared videos from the special day and celebrated the wedding ceremony with their loved ones and friends.
The couple is reported to be residing in Minnesota after the marriage while the sisters are working as fifth grade teachers.
Josh’s Facebook page show that the couple love to hike, snow tub and enjoy ice cream.
The siamese twins were conceived on March 7, 1990, in Minnesota, USA. Abby and Brittany have since defied all odds to live long and happy lives despite their condition.
They are facing what is known as dicephalus conjoined twins, which is a rare version of conjoined twins where both heads appear side by side sharing one torso.
The women share a bloodstream as well as all organs below the waist. Abby controls their right arm and leg, while Brittany controls the left.
Dedicated to experiencing life to the most, they proceeded to university and obtained individual degrees.
Abby and Brittany’s situation is a perfect reflection of determination and resilience to achieve whatever dream we have irrespective of the setbacks we come across.
