Chief of Staff summons Gold Board CEO Sammy Gyamfi over Agradaa money video

The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has urgently summoned Sammy Gyamfi, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, following the widespread circulation of a video showing him handing over an undisclosed amount of money, reportedly in US dollars, to evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, also known as Nana Agradaa.

3news sources at the Jubilee House confirmed that the Chief of Staff has requested Gyamfi to appear and provide a detailed explanation regarding the circumstances surrounding the transaction.

The video, depicting what appears to be a personal interaction between the public official and the controversial religious figure, has ignited significant public criticism and raised serious ethical concerns.

The purpose of the cash handover remains unclear, but the visual of a high-ranking government official providing money to Nana Agradaa has fueled intense speculation and public backlash.

n response to the controversy, Sammy Gyamfi issued an apology on Sunday, May 11, characterizing the act as a private gesture of kindness that regrettably became public.

However, sources indicate that the Chief of Staff is treating the matter with utmost urgency, recognizing the significant political sensitivity and potential reputational damage involved.
