Accra is set to become the epicenter of unbroken prayer as Pastor Gideon Danso and the Empowerment Worship Centre convene some of the world’s most revered ministers for this year’s ‘Stand in the Gap (SITG),’ a 48-hour nonstop prayer marathon.
Scheduled for June 26th to 28th under the theme ‘They That Wait Upon The Lord,’ the spiritual gathering will unfold at The Prayer Factory, located next to Allied Heights in Dzorwulu, Accra. The event, which starts at 6 p.m., is expected to draw thousands of believers locally and internationally, united in fervent intercession and worship.
SITG 2025 is no ordinary prayer gathering. The lineup of speakers and worship leaders are from the world including United States; William McDowell, Pastor John Hannah Matthew Thompson. Nigeria will be strongly represented by Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Victoria Orenze and Sunmisola Agbebi. While Uncle Ato, Joe Mettle and Rev. Ampiah-Kwofi add a powerful local dimension to the roster.
Joining them are other dynamic voices such as Bradley Knight, Ben Doku, and the energetic EWC Live team, all of whom will contribute to the electric atmosphere of worship and prayer.
Pastor Gideon Danso, the visionary behind SITG, believes that this year’s edition is divinely appointed for breakthrough. “This is a gathering of prayer warriors across the world. The Lord is summoning His people to seek Him relentlessly. Something powerful happens when we wait upon the Lord together,” he remarked at Sunday Service at the Empowerment Worship Centre in Accra.
In a world grappling with uncertainty, SITG 2025 offers a sanctuary of hope, power, and divine alignment. All roads lead to Dzorwulu this June—for 48 hours that promise to shake the heavens and shift the earth.
