Too Deep (TDIGG); The Artiste who never lost the message

Julian Baisie, better known by his stage name Too Deep (TDIGG) – is a true creative force. As a graphic designer, music recording artist, and founder/creative director of Urban Cognative, a globally recognized clothing brand, TDIGG’s influence cuts across multiple creative disciplines. But it’s his unwavering devotion to purpose that defines him most.

A pioneer of Urban Gospel in Ghana, Too Deep rose to prominence in 2006 with Street Disciples (GUD Music), a group instrumental in shaping the country’s Christian hip-hop sound. His musical catalogue includes the critically acclaimed “This Path I Chose” mixtape trilogy, the live recording “The Risen Christ” EP, and his award-winning debut album, “Through It All,” which earned him Best Songwriter at the 2022 Outstanding Achievers’ Excellence Awards.

Known for his keen eye for design and detail, TDIGG is also celebrated for his unique ability to recognize and nurture raw talent. Whether in fashion, music, or mentorship, his mission has always been clear: inspire, uplift, and remain grounded in faith.

A PURPOSE – DRIVEN PAUSE :

After the success of Through It All, Too Deep took a necessary break from music to focus on his family and professional commitments. But the creative spark never died. In 2025, he returned with “Questions”—a soul-searching single originally recorded in 2022. “It just wasn’t the right time back then,” he shared, adding that the message needed the right moment to land.

His comeback continued with “Blessed & Highly Favoured,” released on July 1st—a vibrant affirmation that has since resonated with audiences far and wide, rekindling excitement around his music.

STAYING TRUE IN A SHIFTING INDUSTRY :

For over two decades, Too Deep has stood firm in his commitment to neo-contemporary Christian and inspirational music. During a recent interview on the Keys & Strings Show with Omari Kissi Jnr on Sweet Melodies 94.3 FM, he reflected on the delicate balance between artistry and purpose.

“Without the grace of God, it’s easy for a Christian artist to lose sight of their calling,” he said. “Fame can become a trap, pulling one away from the Gospel for selfish motives. That’s why staying grounded is not optional—it’s vital.”

His stance is clear: music is a powerful gift, capable of shaping lives for better or worse. And for Too Deep, the choice has always been the former—because, in his words, “We will all give an account to God in the end.”

WHAT’S NEXT : THROUGH IT ALL (CHAPTER 2)

Now back in the studio, TDIGG is working on his next major project: “Through It All (Chapter 2)”— a direct sequel to his acclaimed debut major album. While the release date is yet to be announced, fans can expect a continuation of the bold honesty and spiritual depth that have become his signature.

Until then, stay connected and be part of the journey.
