Acting NSS Boss Felix Gyamfi reassigned to Finance Ministry

The Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Felix Gyamfi, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Finance with immediate effect.

The decision takes effect less than seven months after his appointment as head of the Authority in January 2025.

No official explanation has been provided for the sudden reassignment, which has sparked speculation within public sector circles.

Sources at the Jubilee House say the move is part of a broader government reshuffle aimed at aligning key personnel with its economic management priorities.

Mr. Gyamfi’s brief tenure at the NSA was marked by efforts to streamline administrative processes, improve deployment systems, and enhance collaboration with private sector institutions to expand opportunities for service personnel.

His reassignment leaves the Authority without a substantive head at a time when preparations are underway for the next batch of national service postings.
