New York Based Rapper, P. Biggs Issues “Threat” To GH Musicians

Blessed with multiple talents of rapping, singing and writing songs, Prince Asare stage named P. Biggs has become one name which is never skipped when major events are hosted in America which demands Ghanaian Musicians on it.

With countless songs in his Arsenal, P. Biggs’ amazing prowess in music traces to his childhood days when he joined a group called ‘Money Squad’. This group has been pivotal in P. Biggs musical career as he rests in the fact that, his musical journey begun with the step he took with the group.

Now based in America, P. Biggs who in a Skype interview with this reporter posited that, he loves most of the talents in Ghana, some of them he has drawn inspiration from. He called names like Obrafour, Reggie Rockstone, Lord Kenya, Buk Bak among others as being mentors since his inception of music. The dreadlock rapper who kept rubbing his hands through his neatly twisted dread spoke out loud that, he is the next seasoned name in Ghanaian Music. Asked whether this is a threat or caution, the rapper cum singer laughingly said it is a threat so all the big names should watch out.

Asking what makes him a threat to Ghanaian Music, the ‘Aunty Araba’ composer outlined that, looking at the trend which is surfacing in Ghana lately, he sees himself as a major force to reckon with. With songs like ‘Fa Wodo’, ‘Shake ya body’ ‘Azonto Bongo’, Wone Doe’ among others, it obviously outlines that, P. Biggs can battle most hit songs that giraffes in Ghana.

With his Twi-English ‘omelet’ rap, P. Biggs has pressed that, just as he is raising the flag of Ghana in Obama’s land (United States Of America), he needs that massive support back home (Ghana) to catapult him further.
