Shatta Wale launches ‘Wonder Boy’ album at 2019 Reign Concert

Ghana’s self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale, on Saturday launched his new album titled ‘Wonder Boy’, at his annual Reign Concert in Accra.

The 11-track album features his popular hit track, Melissa.

The event, held at the 16,000-capacity auditorium of the Fantasy Dome, saw thousands of Shatta Wale fans jam to back to back performances from the artiste and some of his contemporaries including Wendy Shay, Medikal, Fantana, Kuami Eugene, Kwaw Kese and Criss Wadle.

The beautiful night was nearly marred when some fans pelted and hooted at Kwaw Kese, just when he mounted the stage to perform.

But the vile atmosphere did not prevent the Abodam hit maker as he braced the odds to perform his current hit song, Dondo before exiting the stage.

The ‘king’ took over the stage in the early hours of Sunday performing hit after hit songs. Midway through his performance, Shatta paused to thank his fans for their support over the years.

For that, gifted some lucky ones with Infinix phones.
