The Finance Minister Hon. Ken Ofori Atta today 13th November, 2019 presented to the people of Ghana through Parliament the 2020 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the President Nana Akufo-Addo’s government.
Amongst the areas that featured in the 4 hour budget presentation was the Culture, Creative Arts and Heritage Programme.
According to the Finance Minster, the Creative Arts Industry Bill is at Cabinet for consideration. The Act according to the Finance Minister will amongst others establish the Creative Arts Fund and an Agency to promote the industry.
