The Youth and Sports Minister of Ghana Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has lauded the Black Stars for showing commitment towards the Zambia game.
The players have looked much focused in their first two training sessions and a fight for positions has become increasingly intense among members of the team.
The team has also been hit with an injury concern as new Medeama SC signing Foli Adade has been called up in place of injured goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey.
Ghana is chasing a historic third straight World Cup appearance and a win over Zambia will take them to the final round of qualifiers.
Speaking to Radio XYZ, Ankrah said that nothing can stop Ghana from reaching her third World Cup appearance in Brazil next year.
“We are very positive that you will deliver. We have a project, we have an objective, we have a target and our target is that we are going to Brazil,” he told the players.
“God has started with us and He will end with us. I am assuring everyone that nothing on this earth, be it man, woman or devil can stop us on our onward march to Brazil.”
“You the players have showed a high level of commitment and I know that your selfless efforts will give us a resounding victory on Friday.”
