VIDEO: Parliament lied, 2 MPs have indeed tested positive for COVID-19 – Muntaka Mubarak

The Minority Chief Whip Mubarak in Parliament, Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka has revealed that two Parliamentarians and 13 staff in the Parliament of Ghana have so far tested positive for the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
According to him, the infected persons were informed of their status after Speaker of Parliament directed mass testing of all members and staff of the House last week.
Speaking in a television interview on Joy Prime Wednesday morning, the Chief Whip explained that the infected MPs and staff have been isolated while contact tracing has commenced.
On Tuesday, Director of Public Affairs, Kate Addo said reports of confirmed infection were false.
According to her, the results of Covid-19 tests conducted o personnel have not been received.
But Mr Muntaka described her assessment as untrue adding that it has the potential of causing fear and panic in the House.
